Frequently Asked Questions
What information should I provide for the design brief?
A letterhead typically includes the following:
- Company Name
- Company Logo
- And contact information
Identify these pieces of information that you want to use, and compile this into the copy. Once you have the text down on paper, SFG will take care of the rest.
How long does a letterhead design take?
The entire process goes through several steps which include not only the designers but the client as well. The 1st part of the process includes the client providing us with the copy that we should use, any relevant media that is required to go along with the design, and any CI guidelines that we should follow. Once we have all of the above, the design process can begin – which leads to a 1st draft being compiled and sent to the client. Once the draft is approved/amended according to the requested changes, the final file will be compiled and sent through. On average, this entire process does not take more than 1 to 3 business days.
Does SFG imprint any of their own branding on the design?
No, we do not imprint any of our own branding on any final design file that we send through.
Is there an approval process before the final design signoff?
After receiving all the required copy, CI guidelines, and media that we are required to use, we will compile a 1st draft of the design file that will be sent to you. This file will be watermarked, and will not be exported in a high-resolution format. Once this file has been reviewed, you can either request changes to be made, or you can sign off on completion – upon which we will export the print-ready (should the design be print-based), high-resolution (and watermark-less) file which you will be able to use for the purpose it was intended.
